Our condolences to the Darwyn Cooke family. Godspeed Darwyn.

Superman American Alien #7 – The Jock variant cover is sold out. Jock also does the interior art as well. The InvestComics Creator Spotlight on Jock is right HEREA checklist of some of his best work.

Archangel #1 – Best selling sci-fi novelist William Gibson creates his first comic book series ever. Look for sci-fi fans and comic readers to buy this one up. A sell out is inevitable.

Deadpool Last Days Of Magic #1 – It seems no matter where Deadpool appears these days, the comic he’s in will sell well. Naturally. The regular cover here is sold out.

Henchgirl #1 & 2 Bumper Edition – We’ve been giving InvestComics fans a heads up on this series since its inception. The early issues are priced from demand in the aftermarket. This collected edition is sold out.

NOTE. Please understand that when InvestComics releases the Hot Picks article on Friday that many of the independent comics may not be available on Ebay yet. Most of the time, some of the more obscure titles make their way onto Ebay later on in the week or right on/at/before new comic book day on Wednesday. Be sure to check back and click the links or cover(s) to see if the books you want have been listed on Ebay. They usually show up, so be sure to check back!

Each week InvestComics seeks out a comic(s) on Ebay for $100 or less and then brings it to the attention of our fans. We call it IC 100 Club Pick. The idea is to get a great book at a great price. We do not own nor are we selling these comics. The comics are found by a random process. We do not know the ebay seller(s), nor are we promoting the Ebay seller. Any knowing from the Ebay seller of InvestComics or its affiliates is purely coincidental. (See disclaimer for more details).

IC 100 Club Pick: Harley Quinn #17 9.8 (2015) – A variant Joker 75th Anniversary signed by three creators for only $99 with FREE shipping. Graded at 9.8. Signed by Jimmy Palmiotti, Amanda Connor, and Eduardo Risso.

DC Comics continues the lame ode to their last “52” number issue by paying homage to them via the SAME cover as the series’ number one issue. Dubbing the last issues (number 52) as a “homage variant”. Really?? Moving right along…….

Superman American Alien #7 will be the big DC book this week for InvestComics readers and collectors. First, the series will wrap up after receiving rave reviews throughout the series. Second, We learn more about the Superman on a motorcycle attempting to kill Clark. Third, speculators are on high alert with this book as artist JOCK takes over for the final issue. Jock also blesses us all with a variant cover. Which leads us to a fourth reason why this comic is so awesome, that variant is sold out. Better get your hands on that one! Also, have you seen the InvestComics JOCK Creator Spotlight (checklist)? Jock himself loved it so much he shared it on Twitter! Click HERE to see all of his highlighted comics!
Harley Quinn #28 shows fans a full view of the new hot character Red Tool on the cover. This obvious ripoff of Marvel’s Deadpool is really in full view here. Look for fans to grab this one to continue their love for Harley, Red Tool, and that cover.

Like it or not, the Hanna Barbera relaunch is happening with or without you. So either strap in and enjoy the new revamp or complain like a fanboy for no good reason. Except change, it’s okay to see things in a different perspective once in a while, so snap out of it and see what may come of things before you start complaining. Seriously, get over it. Now that you’re not whining anymore, DC’s Future Quest #1 hits this week with an all new look on the Johny Quest/Space Ghost characters. Embrace change, you may surprise yourself and actually like something after you actually READ it!
A ton of variants will be released with the presence in mind to remind readers on every cover, this isn’t the Hanna Barbera you’re accustomed to seeing. Breathe…..breathe…..deep breaths. Legend Bill Sienkiewicz exemplifies this best with his amazing variant cover.

Sci-Fi writer extraordinaire William Gibson makes his comic book debut with Archangel #1 from IDW Publishing. An almost guaranteed well written methodical Sci-Fi comic for fans of this genre. If you’re on the fence about getting this comic, get down off it and get this comic NOW. It will sell out in no time.
IDW follows up their hit Bigger Bang from 2015 with The Biggest Bang #1. IDW has found their Superman character.
An interesting premise brought to Brutal Nature #1 will have readers checking this out. Simply put, dude puts on different mask and becomes that “thing”. Venom Space Knight artist Ariel Olivetti will deliver his awesome pencils inside and on the covers. One cover looks like it has Venom on the cover, seriously, look. Cool!

Dark Horse will introduce fans to a new series; Mae #1. Gene Ha will pull double duty, writing and art. The Frank Cho variant is a keeper.

Spawn #263 will feature the all new Spawn as a human! With new powers too! Count us in!

Marvel proclaims that Civil War II will have fans talking for years to come about the series. Civil War #0 hits this Wednesday with much anticipation. Expect writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Olivier Coipel to deliver the goods. Speaking of delivering goods, have you seen the giveaway we’re having??! The Black and White Civil War II #0 WonderWorld Comics variant. Read and enter for your chance to WIN right HERE. Better hurry, it’s over on May 18th.

International Iron Man #3 may introduce a new villain or two this week. Eyes peeled, reading glasses on.

Spider-Woman #7 will introduce Spider-Woman Hulkbuster on the cover. Each week Marvel is pinning a different Spider character in various different forms marking it the first appearance on a cover.
What will the All-New Wolverine #8 bring readers? This is a Civil War II tie-in and it seems to be an important issue for All-New Wolverine readers. Best keep an eye out on this one.

Question; how would one draw attention to Doctor Strange in light of his new trailer and overall presence? Well you make a comic that teams you up with Deadpool of course! Duh! Daredevil 1

Marvel #1 Hot Pick of the week – Daredevil #1 – Click to Buy/Bid now

Howard The Duck #2 – Howard breaks onto the Hot Picks for the second consecutive month. Well maybe not “Howard” so much, but Gwenpool. She makes another variant cover appearance on consecutive Howard books. This cover will be as hot as the first. Good luck finding it at a reasonable price.

Invincible Iron Man #4 – We love the Mary Jane appearance in this book and both the variant and regular cover.

Replica #1 – A new comic company makes their debut; After Shock Comics. Top tier talents on new releases will make comic fans turn their heads and take notice. Made us look!

X’ed #1 – Anytime Black Mask puts out a new number one comic, fans snatch it up. For good reason, Black Mask is making it happen.

Harley’s Little Black Book #1 – Harley Quinn has a new bi-monthly team-up comic debuting this Wednesday. She’ll team up with Wonder Woman on this first go-around. The usual awesome talent cast of Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner bring us the first issue.

Daredevil #1 – Yes, we’re bending the rules a bit this week. There are six books here instead of five. Oh well, too bad we can break the rules. This Daredevil comic is our Marvel number one issue pick of the week. Written by Charles Soule and art from Ron Garney. The Joe Quesada variant is stellar.

Howard The Duck 2

Hot Pick of the week – Howard The Duck #2 – Gwenpool Variant – Click To Buy/Bid now.

Green Lantern #47 will feature the villain Sonar. The very first appearance of Sonar came way back in 1962’s Green Lantern #14. Gil Kane pencils. A couple of very odd things with the variant here. First off, it has Harley Quinn on the cover. Is she even in this comic? Is DC that desperate to sell Green Lantern comics? Second odd thing here. The Lantern variant cover is the same exact variant cover as the new Harley Quinn comic this week; Harley’s Little Black Book #1. Several comic book outlets (retailers) show that this comic variant is the same exact one as the Green Lantern variant, but with the different header (title). What’s up with this? The new bi-monthy Harley comic will be a new team-up book. The first issue will have Harley team up with Wonder Woman. Brought to you by the Harley dynamic duo Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner. A great book here.

Robin War #1 will be an interesting read. Red Hood, Red Robin, Robins, Batman, Grayson, and the Court of Owls all in one comic? Yes this will be fun.

A new DC/Vertigo title to check out; Sheriff of Babylon #1.

Out of all the new number one Marvel comics coming this Wednesday, there is one with the most potential to hit the right cord with fans and that comic is Daredevil #1. Written by Charles Soule and art from Ron Garney, the new Daredevil series will see some nice gains. The Joe Quesada variant is awesome. The other number one issues from Marvel are All-New Inhumans #1, All-New X-Men #1, and Guardians Of Infinity #1.

The hottest book this week will probably be Howard The Duck #2. Yes Howard cracked the InvestComics Hot Picks a few weeks ago for the same exact reason it will this week, the culprit is…..Gwenpool. She appears in issue two and the incentive Tom Fowler variant cover is sold out. Good luck getting your paws on that one right away at a decent price.

Click on the RED links or the comic cover to buy/bid from All sellers on Ebay.

Check out the new Invincible Iron Man #4 comic. It may have a new villain appearance, but there’s also that appearance from Mary Jane and her gracing both the regular and variant covers. It’s a nice change of pace actually to see Mary Jane out of the Spidey element in a different comic altogether (on the covers no less too). Both Iron Man covers are awesome and need your attention.

Red Wolf’s first appearance was in Avengers #80 (1970) and Red Wolf #1 comes out this week.

So a new Ultimate Spider-Man comic will debut this week. It’s called Spidey #1. Same premise as the Ultimate title, focusing on a younger Peter and his early years as Spider-Man.

The Marvel Star Wars Vader Down crossover event continues in Star Wars #13.

The silliest comic book title of the year has to go to Marvel’s Totally Awesome Hulk #1. Marvel’s feeble attempt at being “hip” is about 16 years too late. When was the last time you heard anyone utter the words “Totally awesome” within the context of describing a person. “Totally Awesome mom”? “Totally Awesome Greg”? “Totally Awesome boss”? See what we’re getting at here? The title falls flat on its face. Thank goodness there are a couple of super talents on this comic to give it worth a look. Greg Pak (Planet Hulk, Skaar, World War Hulk, etc) will write and the totally awesome Frank Cho will be on art duties. See what we did there? Anyways, the series may do okay (don’t foresee a long run here), but expect a title change eventually because that’s just plan silly. “Hello? Yes yes okay, hey Marvel, the 90’s are calling and want their title back”.

451 Media Group seems to sell out of a book every week. A few weeks ago we gave you a heads up on Sunflower #1 and that sold out. Now it looks like Sunflower #2 will follow that lead.

A couple of new comics from Action Lab Entertainment this Wednesday, Actionverse #0 and Bigfoot Sword Of The Earthman #1.

After-Shock Comics will start arriving to a comic shop near you this Wednesday. Check out Replica #1 from writer Paul Jenkins and artist Andy Clarke. After-Shock Comics has some major talents coming on board to deliver some in your face stories and great art. Here’s the very first offering from a new comic book publishing company.

By now comic collectors realize that if Black Mask Comics puts out a new number one issue, you buy it. The comic to get this week is X’ed #1.

Gryphon Knights releases Millennials You Are Special #1. The villains for this first issue? The Debt Collectors. This comic sounds like fun!

Two number one comics from Overground Comics to check out, Absent Captain #1 and Graduate #1.

If you’re thinking about jumping on board the Valiant Entertainment universe, you should do it this Wednesday. A must check out book; X-O Manowar Presents Commander Trill #0. If you want or yearn for continuity and or good story lines, then you must get on the Valiant Entertainment bus. They are the real deal.

Carver A Paris Story #1 (Z3 Comics) will be co-written by Paul Pope.

A new number one comic from Dark Horse, Mystery Girl #1.

Image Comics introduces a new western style comic, Black Jack Ketchum #1.

DC Comics Looney Tunes variant covers; Cyborg #5 (Cully Hamner) and Teen Titans #14 (Joe Quinones).

How To Draw

Vet Tix: Eddie Rausch

Vet_TixWho and what  is Vet Tix? Their Mission:

Giving Something to Those Who Gave.

Veteran Tickets Foundation (Vet Tix) provides FREE event tickets to family members of troops Killed In Action (K.I.A.), our Military and Veterans to sporting events, concerts, performing arts and family activities. Attending these events reduces stress through entertainment, strengthens family bonds, builds life long memories and encourages service members to stay engaged with American life and local communities. Giving free event tickets is an expression of appreciation, acknowledgement and an enduring symbol that we, as a nation, honor the service of our troops today and long after their tour of duty has passed. Helping our veterans attend events provides positive family and life experiences after their years of service to our country.

….And with that, a one on one chat with the COO of Vet Tix, Mr. Eddie Rausch. (Please note: Click on any of the covers in this article to see a full image)

Jay Katz: Thank you so much for stopping by Eddie. With great humility Eddie, I want to tell you that InvestComics supports Vet Tix and your cause with great respect.

Eddie Rausch: Thank you for the kind words Jay. Vet Tix appreciates the support you and InvestComics provides our mission.

JK: Why did you decide to start Vet Tix? What compelled you to begin such a tremendous project?

ER: It all started at the 2008 Super Bowl. Two of our other Founders were attending (one U.S. Navy Veteran and the other USMC Veteran) and had a buddy that was part of the pre-game color guard. They learned that once the pre-game ended the color guard were not able to stay and watch the Super Bowl…they were escorted out of the stadium. The entire game the seat next to them sat empty. This seat, this ticket could have been donated so that one of the members of the color guard could have enjoyed the game. The idea was born right there. As soon as I was asked my thoughts about it a day later I was “IN”…thought it was an amazing idea. We have been moving full speed ahead ever since.

JK: Who has come on board to contribute to Vet Tix so far?

ER: If you asking about sports teams then pretty much all of MLB with the exception of 2 teams. Each year we partner with more and more Universities and Bowl Games…last season we distributed tickets to 26 Bowl Games including Fiesta Bowl, Sugar, Bowl, Orange Bowl, Chick-fil-A and AT&T Cotton Bowl. The list really goes on and on including other sports (NBA, NHL, MLS, Minor League Baseball), concerts such as Kenny Chesney, George Strait and a number of music festivals, family events like Disney on Ice and Ringling Brothers, to Broadway plays and even seasonal events like haunted houses and the Polar Express train. If there is a ticket to an event we will accept it and get it distributed to our veterans for use with their families. Later this month we will hit ticket number One Million!!

Lady Death Vet Tix Blank CoverJK: Recently many comic book fans learned about comic book artist Brian Pulido teaming up with Vet Tix. How will Brian contribute?

ER: Brian is absolutely awesome in his support of Vet Tix! Lady Death is his baby…in all reality she is his daughter and he has allowed Vet Tix to be a special part of her 20th Anniversary. He has given Vet Tix permission to reprint issue #1, the one that started it all, and put a blank cover on it stating this is the “Vet Tix Edition” with our logo on the rear cover. We are now working off of a list put together by Brian and myself to secure artists that will create their vision of Lady Death on these 50 covers.

JK: Which creators have come on board so far? Can you share any covers yet or are they still a work in progress?

ER: We have a great list going with more to come…names like Marc Silvestri, Whilce Portacio, Brandon Peterson, Frank Cho, Leinil Frances Yu, Jay Anacleto, Philip Tan, Carlo Pagulayan, Clayton Crain, Kenneth Rocafort, Arthur Adams, Ivan Reis, Humberto Ramos, Mark Brooks, Agnes Garbowska, Billy Tucci, Tim Vigil and Peter Steigerwald. We also have some great new artists that are really turning in some amazing work as well. Artists like Sajad Shah, Dawn McTeigue, Siya Oum, Mike Krome, Jesse Winchman, Jenevieve Broomall, Jaime Tyndall, Mike DeBalfo, Jonathan Marks, Jason Metcalf, Conny Valentina, Sarah Giardina, Alan Quah, Thony Silas and Rian Gonzales. I do not evny the fans that will need to choose between all of these covers…they truly are incredible!!

Marc Silvestri

JK: Brian Pulido is an extremely approachable creator. Any fan that visits a convention knows this. He’s a tremendous talent. What was Brian’s initial response when you approached him regarding a possible project for Vet Tix?

ER: I have known Brian for some time now and for the past few years he has reached out to me/Vet Tix to see how he could support. He has donated back issues to be shipped to our deployed troops and he has started a “Tip Jar” at his table. He will sign all the books a fan wants all he asks is that they donate to the tip jar. These funds at each convention will go to either Vet Tix or Heroes Initiative.

Leinil Francis YuWhen this idea for a blank cover project came up he thought it was perfect timing to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Lady Death and loved the idea. As much as this is an AMAZING way for Vet Tix to raise funds and grant “Hero’s Wishes” I think Brian also enjoys seeing how each artist sees his character. Who knows, maybe we will see more Lady Death from some of these artists now that they have had a chance to draw her and Brian has seen what they can do!

JK: Okay so all 50 comics will be CGC Signature Series graded. Besides being completely awesome, how did you get CGC on board too?

ER: Things just seem to fall in place with CGC. One of our followers on the Facebook event page has a connection high up with CGC. He reached out to me and suggested I call this contact. I did, explained the project and it was a done deal. I was told to send all the completed covers in at once and to mark them to HIS attention and CGC would make certain this books would be made a priority in turn around time. It helps to have fans that also believe in your mission!!

JK: Where can collectors bid on the CGC Lady Death Artist Project once they are done?

ER: Vet Tix has an eBay seller’s account. We have gone through the process of being vetted by them so we can auction the items and any fees that would normally be charged are returned to us due to our status as a 501c3 non profit organization. I would suggest anyone interested add “vet-tix” to their favorite sellers list.

They may also join the event page on Facebook, search Lady Death Artist Project benefiting Vet Tix – Hero’s Wish. On this event page we will post work in progress pics, completed cover pics and add the live links to the eBay auction for each and every cover!

Jay AnacletoJK: Do you have any other creator projects after Brian Pulido’s Lady Death Project that you can tell us about?

ER: WE do!! On the heels of the Lady Death project we will also be doing a similar blank cover project with Billy Tucci for the 20th Anniversary of “Shi, Way of the Warrior”. Our goal is to be able to collect these completed covers and display at either Baltimore or New York Comic Con this fall. There is also an event page on Facebook for this project.

Clayton CrainJK: Are you a comic book collector??

ER: I did collect comics for a number of years, have long box after long box in my collection. I still do a little now, trying to put together a run of Amazing Spider-Man and X-Men 1-100 together, but in 2008 things changed for me when Michael turner passed away from his long battle with cancer. I realized I collected the comic books for the art and began collecting Original Art from those artist I admire.

JK: Please tell everyone where they can go to make a donation, contribute, or become part of the cause.

ER: It is simple, go to www.VetTix.org. Here you can donate tickets and/or money, become verified in our system if you have served or are serving in the U.S. Armed Forces or if you are primary next of kin to killed in action and begin making use of the service we provide.

JK: Thank you so much for your time Eddie. Your foundation is an amazing tribute to the men and women who serve this great country of ours. It was an honor. Thank you.

ER: Thank you Jay. What we do here at Vet Tix is a true pleasure and an HONOR. Not many people get to do what they love on a day to day basis but I can tell you the staff here at Vet Tix absolutely loves being able to create opportunities for our veterans to make memories with their families that will last a lifetime. Some of my strongest memories from my childhood are from going to baseball games with my father when he was on leave from his service in Vietnam and I want to be able to give Jenevieve BroomallMike Krome

HOT PICKS

[scrollGallery id=238]

Okay Hot Picks time. There are certainties in life. The character Thanos is one such case. So is the fact that last Sunday InvestComics informed you guys/gals that East of West #1 is a not to miss book. Yes, listen to the Broker when he tells you about the certainties in the collectors market. It’ll do your wallet some good. So getting back to Thanos now, if you ever doubted anything in the speculation market, this one would not be the one to doubt. If you don’t own or are thinking about owning Iron Man #55, stop thinking and do it. I cannot stress enough how much Thanos is going to make an impact on the movie side of things. The best comparison to make here is actually quite simple. Thanos will be the modern day Darth Vader. I have said this before and I will keep saying it. Thanos’ impact in the theaters will directly impact the back issue market. This said, this week Thanos Rising (2013) #1 will be altering the Marvel Universe as we know it. Yes that villain Thanos is going to bring it and you better be ready. This dude is a bad ass.

…..More certainties this week; Harbinger Wars (2013) #1. This comic will be a quick sell out, so you better grab one off the shelf before they disappear.

Superior Spider-Man (2012) #7 will see the return of Cardiac. The first appearance of Cardiac came in Amazing Spider-Man #342. Want to feel old? This comic was penciled by Erik Larsen 23 years ago!! 1990….23 years ago!! Wow.

DC Comics celebrates with a special issue of Detective Comics (2011 2nd Series) #19. “Mystery of the 900!” Umm, okay.

….More certainties this week; Regular Show #1. This book will be harder to find than any other in the aftermarket for cover price after Wednesday. Yep.

So with Venom (2011 Marvel) #33 we get the ol’ homage cover thingy going. Isn’t that nice? One little thing here though. Spawn #222 a few issues ago did the same exact thing. Two comics in such close proximity of each other paying homage to Todd McFarlane’s (paid himself homage; he’s proud of himself) Amazing Spider-Man #316. Click on the collage below to see a bigger image of all 3 covers side by side. Which one do you like best?

Venom

Okay so wrapping up. How about a bunch of number one and number zero issues to look out for? Miss Fury (2013 Dynamite) #1 (Look at that cover – holy assets Batman!), Robyn Hood vs Red Riding Hood (2013 Zenescope) #1, Steam Wars (2013 Antarctic Press) #0 (interesting concept here, Star Wars theme = sold out), Tales of Fear (2013 Aazurn) #1, Unleashed (2013 Zenescope) #0, Snow Angel (2013 Dark Horse) #0, Last of Us American Dreams (2013 Dark Horse) #1, andPolarity (2013 Boom) #1.

Comic Broker Report – March 2013

The Comic Book Broker’s Report ( March 2013 )

By Topher Seal

Most of us who collect comics also collect other things and while I believe that none of you want to know how I acquired a hang nail from Red Sox Slugger David Ortiz, I can assure you that there is plenty of comic related material worth investing in. But collecting in multiple markets creates its own set of problems.  Years ago I streamlined my collection and stopped purchasing action figures, posters and other materials simply because storage was becoming an issue.  Once you start building a collection it can quickly spiral out of control.  Example:  I had to find a creative use for long/short boxes so instead of telling my wife that a storage unit was in our future I removed all the bed frames, sold the metal for scrap and used one layer of boxes per bed to replace the frames.  With a little effort I was able to create tunnels for cats under each bed!  Everyone’s money has to go to many things each month so identify what you love and go for it just don’t try and collect everything,  you will go broke and probably lose a spouse or the love of your parents.

Star Wars Galaxy 2 ( bagged )

With the announcement that Chris Carter will create Season 10 of  The X-Files, back issues should see gains.  The ones I like: Issues 40,41  ( Both Photo Cover Variants ) of the Topps Series and this Star Wars comic.  Inside of this bagged issue there is an X-Files ashcan that just happens to be a rare early appearance of The X-Files in comics!

The Image 2010 Yearbook

sdcc2010_yearbook_coverIt’s pricey but if you are a fan of the Nowhere Men then you must find this.  There a lot of debate about the Nowhere men right now.  It’s one of Images hottest books and is demanding serious cash on the back issue market.  Some say Invincible 19 is the comic to own but others believe the first appearance is in this yearbook ( which is also a must have for Walking Dead fans )  I say buy both.

Iron Man 304,305

These comics had pretty significant print runs but if the armor at the end of the most recent Iron Man 3 film trailer is any indication then the Hulkbuster armor could be a big part of the climax.  You can find these comics cheap so why not buy real low and wait a few months?

Note: There is also a Marvel Legends Reprint of issue 305 that is a lot harder to find than the regular issue!

Thunderbolts 25 ( Series 1 )

Big Hero 6 is going to be a Disney Animated film and you were smart right?  You heard about the film and hit every LCS you could find for Sunfire & Big Hero 6 1-3 and Alpha Flight vol. 2 issue 17.   After that there weren’t  any appearances for some time.  But I’m guessing most people forgot about this issue from 1999.

Marvel Comics Presents 26 & Iron Man 230

If you are noticing a trend as it relates to collecting moderns then bravo!  These days the modern market is a bull and the cornerstone of collecting is first appearances especially as it relates to characters  jumping to the big screen.  Honestly would you ever care about Coldblood or Firepower if not for Marvel Films?  Now you must!

The Invincible Iron Man 10 ( secret bar code Variant )

I still believe that the second print of this issue will prove to be just as hot a back issue as this one.  Any appearance of the Rescue Armor in the upcoming Iron Man film should boost the value of this comic.  The cool thing about this comic is that the variant can only be determined by knowing what numbers to look for in the bar code!

th

Injustice Gods 1,1 ( Variant )

It’s not to often that I recommend a comic/video game tie-in issue but this series has generated some heat already.  Based on a new game from the Mortal Kombat creators it looks like a fighter that just can’t fail.  It helps that the art is tight and the Joker starts it all off with one of the most horrific acts in comic history.

The Image Comics Holiday Special

I have mentioned this little gem before but after the most recent episode of the Walking Dead every fan who collects the comics has to have this in their collection.  Morgan first appeared in issue 1 and later in this issue.  Now he has been featured in one of the show’s best episodes, Clear.  Buy this and buy it right now!

Detective Comics 647

Damian Wayne is dead!  Yea it’s sad because he’s the best Robin since the first Robin.  I do sense a resurrection in the futures especially since the little bugger was grown in an artificial womb but until then there will be speculation as to who the next Robin will be.  I want Cassandra Cain to take the role but it’s likely going to be Stephanie Brown.  Fans are clamoring for her DC 52 intro and this could be the way they do it.  This first appearance has been flying under the radar for some time and can be found for pennies.

Co-created by Cho and Murray, with art by 50 GIRLS 50 talent search winner and current ELEPHANTMEN artist Axel Medellin, 50 GIRLS 50 chronicles the fantastic voyage of the Space Vessel ESS Savannah and her beautiful crew as they fight to escape hostile aliens and exotic worlds, searching for the wormhole that will take them to their ultimate destination: Home.
